Summer fun...

New retaining wall
The flooding has subsided and allowed me to get back to working in the yard. Finally finished the retaining wall that I've been contemplating for the last eighteen months, or so. It looks good to me, but time will tell as to how well it is built.

Summer flowers are booming as well, even though we are still getting plenty of rain (more than enough).

We visited Augusta, KY recently. It's one of the places we considered retiring to. Unfortunately, it is a little more expensive than our SS would support. Also, the nearest bridge to get across the Ohio River is at least 30 miles away. But, they do have a ferry... (http://www.augustaky.com/city/ferrycam.asp).
