February Crocuses and some trees...

The winter has been very mild so far, actually warm, this year... I've been interested by some of the trees and crocuses I've seen here this mid February.

Here are a few interesting trees...

A Holy three(?)

This is much bigger than any holy bush I've ever seen.

Southern Magnolia

Had never seen one of these before moving here. This tree is green year round and the blossoms are huge in the spring, at least twice the size of the northern varieties.

American Sweetgum, or monkey ball tree(?). No, this tree isn't green yet, but interesting anyway.

There are even a few dandelions blooming... I hope I don't need to mow the lawn any time soon.
